Dr. Christine Nandy
Christine Nandy was born in Port Dickson and raised in Kuala Lumpur and has always had a keen interest in sports, musical theater and the creative arts. She graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). During her graduating year, she was nominated and awarded the Vice Chancellors Award by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. This award is bestowed to students with exceptional academic records, outstanding commitments to extracurricular activities and services, as well as exemplary athletic achievements.
Christine was also awarded the Silver Medal for being the Best UPM Performing Athlete in 2002 and 2003, for her contributing representation to the University’s Athletics Team and the University’s Netball Team. From her freshman year up until her graduating year, in both teams, had won the National Varsity Championships for 5-consecutive years.
Artistically, Christine had been involved with the Varsity Choir with various performances including the World Aids Day Summit in Malaysia 2001 held at Putra World Trade Center.
Kristy’s Ark Veterinary Pet Clinic proudly opened its doors in January 2005. Christine believes that educating owners about proper pet care is one of the most important services that a veterinarian can provide, and one of the best ways to strengthen the human-animal bond.
